| Several years ago, in the year
2000, the internet experienced the birth of Nintendo flash cartoons. One of its earliest
creators was Clark Lybeck. He inspired others to create Nintendo flash, who inspired
others, creating a sub-culture of flash artists. I witnessed this event first hand. He
earned a place in the Newgrounds
Network and built classicnintendo.com, which showcased several NES cartoons. Well,
that day is long gone, and that website expired with most of his cartoons. Clark has
disappeared from the internet, but some of his work continues to live. Below are a few of
his cartoons that I managed to collect while he was leading the Nintendo flash genre. - Jeremy Lokken
