Storyboard for Death of a Salesman


The story starts off with the Salesman walking the streets. The camera pans to the right and the viewer sees the houses and gets a general idea of the neighborhood.	Camera zooms in on a particular door.	The Salesman knocks.

We see the Salesman testing his products. He is spraying the neighborhood insects with his bug-spray. A misty cloud develops.	The neighborhood man is seen very excited about this new product. For reasons unknown. He wants it.	The Salesman makes a motion of his hands, indicating "money." Pay up!


The customer is thinking if the price of the product is worth it.	The Salesman offers a bargain that the man cannot refuse! 2 for the price of 1!	The man agrees and accepts.

The Salesman motions again for money. He is a quick man and wastes no time. He's got sales to make!	The customer has to get his wallet. He moves inside the house.

The Salesman becomes impatient already! He taps his foot again and again. He does not see what happens behind him. It is not noted in the storyboard, but there is a girl in the background. A ghost of a girl. She peers out from the neighborhood gate and then fades away. A little girl, age 7-8. The Salesman received a chill and was disturbed by something. He looks behind him, but sees nothing. The girl as disappeared.		The customer is pictured moving about his house. There is a brutal painting in the background. It is a Salvador Dali painting.

The customer is seen from a dark shot from inside the basement. He reaches for the light switch.		We, the viewer, are shocked as to see what is placed in this man's basement. Mutilated, decapitated, and piled dead bodies are stuffed into a corner of the basement, including the girl that was seen as a ghost just outside.

The lights shut off and the man proceeds to the door with a shovel. This shovel is the same tool used on the rest of the victims that are now stuffed in his basement. He hides it behind his back and continues to the front door. This is the end of the storyboard, but not the end of the story! The Salesman is fed up of waiting for the customer and enters the man's home. He sees the man and smiles. The man points to the kitchen as though that's where the money is at. The Salesman proceeds inside the house and the door closes. The man looks at the customer and is greeted with a shovel at his face by a quick swing. Camera picture in the basement, the lights are off, but the shadow of the man is seen holding an object in one hand and the shovel in the other. It is the man's head. He drops it down the stairs as it rolls toward the camera. The end. Watch the movie!
